Chapter 8 (After leaving Death Mountain he goes to the potion shop in Lake Hylia. This seemed like the only place that wasn't infested. It was, though wrecked. The potion shop seemed intact, so he went in.) Link: I need some antidote. A lotie stung me. Potion man: Lotie? Oh, What is a lotie? I must know of a creature that I have never heard of! (A spectral lotie smashes through the wall.) Link: That's a lotie! Potion man: Are they always-spiritual entities? (Link is fighting it off.) Link: This is the first one that's a ghost! If you don't know what these are, you must have been living under a rock for the last few days! Potion man: I must do an autopsy! I must have ultimate knowledge! (The potion man walks off for a few seconds, and later comes back with various instruments that look painful if they were ever used on you.) Potion man: Stand back… (The potion man electrocutes it with some odd science thing, and the spectral lotie is now a dead ghost, that's materialized as a normal lotie.) Potion man: Let's cut it open… (The autopsy is long gross, and when it's done the results are in.) Potion man: …There is no antidote. (Link feels the toxin a little. He gets very upset with him, and leaves to Gerudo Valley.) Link: I wonder if they've been annihilated like the others… (When he gets there, the Gerudos are still fighting the lotie off. There are Gerudos in their heavily fortified fortress, with dozens of acidic lotie, and they had a sort of leader, too. It was an enormous red lotie that spewed fire out of it's head and butt.) Gerudo: You're here to help us, right? This is the last place in Hyrule that has a city in it. If we die, There will be no more Hyrule. Losing is not an option. Link: This looks like a killing party. I'm in! (Link literally cuts a path through the lotie, and gets to the fortress. Acid is spewing everywhere, and he gets on top of the fort, and shoots them up full of arrows. After the last lotie is dead, they take a rest. The big one seemingly disappeared.) Gerudo: Go get some water. (Link goes to get some water, comes back, but once he gives the water to another Gerudo, more come right up out of the ground.)
